Mark, I have been holding back on posting visitor comments as I am not sure exactly what the intent of them is.
Should we be giving our honest thoughts on the composition etc? I am no expert by any means, far from it... and hate to discourage anyone, but I am now wondering if this is part of the learning process???

The comments section is indeed just for that purpose - comments from visitors.
So feel free to post your thoughts, suggestions, etc. We're hoping that the Judge's reviews and visitor comments will help photographers improve their art.
Of course, be encouraging and constructive. Denigrating posts won't be tolerated.

Don't worry about hurting my feelings. I can use any help I can get. Since I have been owned by the LWMDs taking photos has become fun. I wish I had taken many more when I was younger.

I'm sure we could all say that Carey heheheee. I'm so glad I made the most of the last day with Cedric and have so many pics to remember him by.
I lost two years of pics of Sara when I added to the CD and forgot to change the settings from 'new CD' to 'add to exisiting CD'. Don't make the mistake I did, it is so easily done and the previous saved files are gone forever. Broke my heart it did. If anyone knows of a way of retrieving them I would be forever indebted!

Theo Explain how you lost those files in a little more detail. They MAY be able to be recovered. If the only copy of those files was on one CD and you corrupted that CD you may be out of luck. I'am glad you made the most of that day, Cedric was a lucky boy to have you in his life.
