Don't worry, I have a carousel photo where I went a bit too far myself!
Actually, it was intentional as the client wanted to highlight the foreground horse in an unusual fashion. I ended up applying a "sketch pad" effect to the background.

That is gorgeous! I love it! I prefer photos like that,i.e. a bit of minipulation, as opposed to a 'straight' shot.
