The "water ballet" of an olive captured just as it hits the surface of a martini (OK, it's really just water :-) I used two synchronized strobes, one at the left of frame, and another (with a blue gel) below, firing up into the water glass. It took about 40 shots since I was manually dropping the olive in one hand and using a remote shutter release in the other. Like a snowflake, the splash pattern is unique. |
